Spark’s Pretty Pink Porridge

Difficulty Level:



  • 2.6 oz (75g) Porridge Oats
  • 0.8 oz (25g) Wheat Bran
  • 20 oz (600ml) Milk
  • 2.6 oz (75g) Strawberries or Raspberries (plus extra for serving)
  • 1-2 Teaspoons Clear Honey (optional)
  • Serves 2 to 4


  • Put the oats, bran and milk in a large microwaveable bowl and cover.
  • If you cover with Clear Wrap pierce a hole and heat in a microwave on HIGH for 4-5 minutes. Stir and let stand for 2 minutes.
  • Transfer the porridge to a blender, add the fruit and process until smooth (be careful as the porridge will be very hot).
  • Add the honey if using to taste, if necessary, return the porridge to the microwaveable bowl and reheat on HIGH for 1 minutes.
  • To serve, spoon into individual bowls and top with a few whole strawberries or raspberries.
